Introduction
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join our IT team. This degree apprenticeship offers a genuine opportunity to gain hands‑on experience working towards BSc degree. The successful candidate will be embedded within the IT department, supporting and contributing to real software, data, and infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do
- Support the delivery of IT solutions, applying root cause analysis to investigate issues, identify underlying causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Participate in the design, development, and testing of internal and external applications and digital tools under the guidance of senior IT staff.
- Contribute to the maintenance and documentation of IT systems, software configurations, and technical processes.
- Help administer day‑to‑day activities relating to user access, permissions, and endpoint devices using business systems.
- Work within IT policies, data protection obligations, and cybersecurity procedures at all times.
- Participate in apprenticeship coursework, off‑the‑job learning sessions, and academic modules within agreed timescales.
Training Outcome
This apprenticeship will initially lead to a role of Business Systems Technician.
