About the Role
Teach Now is working with a caring and inclusive primary school in Bromley to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH and ADHD across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This long‑term opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships and helping children overcome barriers to learning. You’ll work alongside experienced teachers and the SENCO to create a structured, nurturing environment where pupils can develop emotionally, socially and academically.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small group support for pupils with SEMH and ADHD.
- Encourage emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
- Support pupils to engage fully in classroom learning.
- Implement behaviour support plans and EHCP targets.
- Build trusting relationships with pupils and families.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
Requirements
- Experience supporting children with SEMH, ADHD or additional needs.
- A calm, empathetic and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A genuine passion for inclusive education.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
