Department: Engineering & Maintenance
Location: Hull
px group is a fully integrated infrastructure solutions business, providing innovative operations management, engineering services and energy management solutions to partners in high hazard, highly regulated industries. We focus on improving operating performance of commercial and industrial facilities with zero harm to people, environment, assets and reputation.
Energy Works Hull plant processes up to 240,000 tonnes per year of refuse‑derived fuel (RDF) using advanced fluidised‑bed gasification technology, producing around 25 MW of baseload electricity—enough for approximately 43,000 homes. It offsets about 30,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually and diverts significant waste from landfill.
