About the role

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you’ll deliver warm, person-centred care, support care planning, and help keep day-to-day standards safe, effective and consistently high. You’ll also step up for others; supervising colleagues, coordinating tasks and making sure outcomes stay strong, every shift.

Key responsibilities

• Assess residents’ needs and help shape personalised care
• Deliver, review and maintain care programmes in line with best practice
• Administer medication according to policy and procedure
• Provide leadership by supporting, guiding and supervising care staff
• Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance

What we’re looking for

• SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Current SSSC registration
• PDA in Medication and/or Supervision (or equivalent)
• Experience in a Senior Care/Senior Healthcare Assistant role
• Strong communication and organisational skills

What’s on offer

• £14.00 per hour
• Permanent contract – 33 hours per week
