About the Role
We are recruiting for a Senior Creative Technician (scenic and carpentry specialist) to join our operational technical services team. You will be at the heart of creating unforgettable guest experiences, from immersive theming and scenic builds to installations and live activity support. Working closely with the Venue Production Supervisor and creative teams, you will combine hands‑on technical skill with safety, quality and detail.
The Senior Creative Technician leads COSHH processes within the department, ensuring hazardous substances are assessed, recorded, and used following legislation and best practice. You’ll champion safe working by implementing and monitoring PPE requirements, carrying out regular safety inspections, and supporting internal and external audits. Your input will be key in maintaining a safe, compliant and well‑organised creative working environment.
In addition to compliance and governance, you will be an active scenic technician on the ground, contributing to builds, finishes, dressing, installations and maintenance projects across the park. You will look after departmental tools, materials and equipment, ensuring everything is stored correctly, maintained to a high standard and ready for action. By supporting incident reporting and continuous improvement, you’ll balance creative ambition with practical delivery in a busy, live theme park setting.
