Assessor in Automotive (Apprentice Skills Coach)
We are seeking a full‑time permanent Assessor to support automotive apprenticeships. The role involves delivering training, assessing and quality‑assuring work‑based learning programmes in line with the college’s Apprenticeship Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training sessions to automotive apprentices.
- Assess and verify learner progress using A1, TAQA, D32 qualification frameworks.
- Quality‑assure work‑based learning programmes aligned with employer needs.
- Support learner development through varied instructional methodologies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Automotive.
- Relevant occupational experience as a mechanic or automotive assessor.
- Strong reading and writing skills (Literacy / Numeracy Level 2 or above).
- Enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated team player.
- Will undertake assessor qualification training (A1, TAQA, D32).
