About the Role

As a Principal Solution Architect at Camunda, you sit at the intersection of deep technical expertise and strategic impact. You are the go‑to specialist for our most strategic opportunities and work closely with Sales Engineers to demonstrate how Camunda integrates into complex IT environments and drives digital transformation. You own end‑to‑end Proof of Concepts, advise on solution architecture, develop reusable assets, and shape how our most important customers realize value from Camunda.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborate closely with prospects to understand their business objectives and technical needs, and translate them into tailored Camunda solutions.
  • Conduct compelling technical presentations and demos for a variety of stakeholders, including C‑level executives.
  • Lead the design and implementation of POCs to showcase the effectiveness and adaptability of Camunda’s software.
  • Formulate strategic adoption roadmaps that provide a clear path to value at scale aligned with the prospect’s strategic vision.
  • Work alongside a cross‑functional sales team, offering technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle, ensuring a cohesive and convincing sales strategy.
  • Convey client feedback to product management and engineering teams to inform product enhancement and identify new market opportunities.

What you bring

  • Ability and/or willingness to use our product.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect or similar technical presales role, explaining product benefits to customers, handling sales objections, and achieving technical wins.
  • Strong Java programming skills and deep understanding of how software, cloud services, and enterprise systems work.
  • A proven aptitude for critical thinking, innovative problem‑solving, and tailoring software solutions to meet unique customer challenges and requirements.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (native or C1/C2 proficiency). You can convey complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner to a diverse audience, including those without a technical background.

Nice‑to‑haves

  • Experience in developing strategic roadmaps and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience in enterprise automation, business process management, process orchestration, robotic process automation, or related fields.
  • Understanding of the process automation and orchestration product landscapes.
  • Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance Industries.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are an asset.
  • Comfort with Docker and Kubernetes.

We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location‑based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition.

The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market. • Singapore: S$286,600 to S$429,900

If you’re based elsewhere, you’ll be hired via Remote.com, and your Talent Acquisition Partner will provide a personalized Total Rewards Calculator after your first interview.
