THE OPPORTUNITY
- Lead on a varied portfolio of banking and finance matters for domestic and international lenders, borrowers and investors.
- Advise on sophisticated leveraged finance, corporate lending, asset-based lending and real estate finance transactions.
- Structure, negotiate and deliver complex financing arrangements across a diverse range of sectors.
- Take a prominent role in acquisition finance, refinancing and strategic lending transactions.
- Work closely with colleagues across corporate, real estate, tax and restructuring on major multi-disciplinary matters.
- Develop and strengthen long-standing client relationships while contributing to new business opportunities.
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the team, supporting their technical and professional development.
- Play an integral role in the continued growth of an ambitious and highly regarded Manchester practice.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Qualified Solicitor with the experience and technical capability expected of a Legal Director specialising in Banking & Finance.
- A proven track record advising on a broad range of financing transactions for lenders, borrowers or sponsors.
- Strong technical expertise across complex finance documentation and transaction management.
- Experience managing client relationships and leading matters with minimal supervision.
- A commercially astute lawyer who enjoys working on sophisticated, transaction-driven work.
- An enthusiastic mentor with the confidence to support and develop junior lawyers.
