Redbridge CAMHS Head of Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic manager to join our Integrated Children’s Services in Redbridge. We are looking for a Head of Service for Redbridge CAMHS who will play a key role in providing strong and inspirational leadership as part of an integrated approach to improve CYP mental health and wellbeing across the Borough. You will support the team, department, and organisation to achieve our values, delivering high quality CAMHS services and improving outcomes for CYP and their families whilst working jointly with the local partnership.
Responsibilities
- Deliver effective operational and clinical leadership and direction to service leads and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support and develop the strategic direction for the service in line with national policies and local health priorities.
- Ensure services are continuously monitored, reviewed and adapted to meet changing service‑user needs and identified commissioning requirements.
- Maintain delivery of clinical and care quality standards and objectives.
- Support and influence the development of new patient pathways in response to commissioner requirements.
- Oversee patient pathways and flows into and out of Community Services.

Compensation & Benefits
High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London: 15% of the basic salary (minimum £4,870, maximum £6,137 per annum, pro rata for part time). Probationary period applies.

Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant clinical and leadership experience in CAMHS or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic service development and operational management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, strengths‑based approach.
