A founder‑led food business with serious scale on the delivery marketplaces is looking for a Head of Marketing. Not someone to manage a function that is already running smoothly. Someone to walk into a business where the commercial engine works but the brand piece has never been done properly and fix that.
What you will own
Platform
- Roughly £70k per month across Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat
- Strategy, ROAS accountability and aggregator relationships sit with you
- Platform Manager handles the day‑to‑day execution
Brand
- Build a portfolio of distinct food brands properly on social
- Goal is growing organic demand, so the business is not solely dependent on paid to fill 75 plus sites
- Define how you measure it and be accountable for moving it
Franchise and B2B
- Awareness, demand generation, collateral that converts quality franchise partners
- You set the strategy, the team executes
The team
- Structure is deliberately open
- Real input into roles, hiring sequence and in‑house versus agency versus AI balance
- Design the team you need rather than inherit one that does not fit
What they need
- 3 or more years as a Head of Marketing with a team of 3 or more
- Track record of owning a commercial outcome, not just executing a brief
- Grip on paid media efficiency and ROAS at scale
- Strong brand and social instincts or the ability to direct people who have them
- Genuinely AI‑forward with clear views on where it helps and where it does not
- Hungry, hands‑on, and comfortable in a build environment
- Aggregator or delivery marketplace experience (Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Just Eat)
- Food, QSR, delivery or multi‑site background
The setup
Four‑day week, long days Monday to Thursday. Three days in West London. Reports to the founders. £90,000 to £100,000 plus performance bonus.
