Scada Test Lead

Power utility transmission network programme

We’re recruiting for a SCADA Test Lead to join a major power utility transmission network programme, leading test design, execution and defect management across SCADA and real time control systems.

What you’ll do

• Design and execute tests to ensure complete SCADA test coverage
• Assure third party supplier testing meets client delivery requirements
• Work within a Scrum team alongside the Product Owner and SCADA SMEs to shape user stories and test requirements
• Monitor and report on test preparation and execution via JIRA/XRAY
• Lead defect triage for your ART team, engaging the right stakeholders
• Identify, manage and resolve testing risks and issues

What you’ll need

• SCADA testing experience in Electricity Transmission (OSI Monarch preferred, comparable platforms considered)
• At least one SCADA Power Utility testing project, with Real Time Control / NMS exposure
• Strong SIT, SAT and FAT testing experience
• Testing knowledge of integration middleware (Oracle MFT, Mulesoft APIs)
• Familiarity with industry standards (IEC101, IEC104, IEC 61850, IEEE)
• Hands on with a test management tool (JIRA, HP-ALM)
• Willingness to work shift patterns

Nice to have

Strong client facing and stakeholder communication skills, Agile delivery experience.
