Security Engineer

Cyber Security Engineer 6-month Contract – Cambridgeshire – *MUST HOLD DV Clearance*

We are seeking multiple Cyber Security Engineers to support the delivery and maintenance of secure, mission critical environments.

Working within a skilled security engineering team, you will help implement and maintain security controls, improve cyber resilience, and support secure system operations across complex platforms and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security tooling and controls
• Maintain system security posture and security baselines
• Support SIEM and Protective Monitoring capabilities
• Identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation activities
• Collaborate with engineering teams on secure system design and delivery

Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of defence in depth security principles
• Experience with CIS, NIST CSF, and MOD aligned security standards
• Hands on experience with:
• Endpoint security and DLP
• Microsoft and Linux environments
• Networking and boundary protection technologies
• SIEM and monitoring platforms
• Authentication technologies including LDAP, SAML, and PKI
• Experience across cloud, virtualised, and hybrid environments
• Ability to work effectively across engineering and operational teams

Experience within defence or highly regulated environments is highly desirable.
