Senior ICU Transfer Doctor – 24/7 Critical Care Retrieval

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an ST5+ doctor to join the Retrieve Adult Critical Care Transfer Team. The role covers two bases with a fixed-term contract of 6 months, flexible to 6–12 months, full-time 40 hours per week, with part-time considered.

Work involves coordinating 24/7 referrals, performing transfers alongside Duty Consultants and Transfer Practitioners, and delivering advanced ICU care and anaesthesia in transit. Training leads toward autonomous practice under supervision.
