Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Lead Subcontract Procurement activities on projects within the sector
  • Collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Support the completion of procurement strategy documents
  • Manage updates throughout the project
  • Ongoing reporting of procurement progress on projects
  • Deliver predictable best-in-class outcomes
  • Assist with ensuring a robust and structured supply chain exists
  • Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Support and mentor junior members of the Procurement and Supply Chain team
  • Drive towards environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
  • Promote collaboration between the business and the supply chain

Qualifications

  • Full member or working towards the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (min level 5)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Desirable)
  • Other accredited certifications in procurement or supply chain management (Desirable)
  • Experience working in a similar role (Essential)
  • Basic proficiency in procurement software and tools, understanding of supply chain management principles (Essential)
  • Procurement skills relevant to the construction industry (Essential)
  • Extensive knowledge of leading subcontract procurement activities
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities (Essential)
  • Excellent analytical skills relating to numerical and clarifications assessments (Essential)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams) (Essential)
