Overview
A fast moving and growing service that facilitates MFT and surrounding community functions supplying medical consumables, equipment and PPE. Ensures the prompt and efficient handling, processing and routing of goods through the trust PDC and R&D functions. Uses the inventory management system for ordering, receiving, stock checking, cycle counting and raising electronic documentation for goods received. Accurate documentation is available for invoice clearance and audit purposes.

Responsibilities
- Receive daily PUSH deliveries of medical consumable items from MFT’s Procurement Distribution Centre for onward delivery, ensuring full quality checks, counts and general storage.
- Pick and pack general consumables and PPE lines to fulfil orders for all MFT and community areas.
- Receive and quality check deliveries from NHSSC and directly from suppliers, ensuring stock quantities and product references match the order raised.
- Maintain high levels of communication between the Scan4Safety team and Procurement Distribution Services team regarding deliveries of PUSH goods.
Qualifications
- Good standard of basic education.
Experience
- Basic computer skills, including inputting and e‑mail.
- Experience of stock control and distribution procedures.
- Direct experience of dealing with clinical and professional staff.

Legal and Compliance
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this role. Successful candidates will have their DBS checked and the cost recovered from salary within the first three months of employment.

Salary
£25,760 to £27,476 a year (per annum, pro rata)
