Job Summary
Join our small, independent team inside AWS to build and operate services that bring stability, automation, and performance to popular AWS services. This role is based in the Thames Valley and blends development, operations, and networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Own technical design, coding, review, testing, deployment, and maintenance of services in AWS cloud environments.
- Collaborate across teams to improve tooling, features, services, and applications.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and troubleshoot production issues.
- Mentor peers and influence coding practices.
Qualifications
- Professional, non‑internship software development experience.
- Experience building complex software systems delivered to customers.
- Contributed to architecture and design (patterns, reliability, scaling) of new and current systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Leadership experience as a mentor or tech lead.
