Wave Search is partnering with a globally recognized consulting firm that is investing heavily in the growth of its UK Public Sector practice.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to lead architecture strategy across major UK Central Government transformation programmes, helping departments modernise critical services through cloud, AI, data and digital technologies.

The Opportunity

• Define enterprise architecture strategy and technology roadmaps for complex government organisations.
• Lead large‑scale transformation programmes covering cloud adoption, legacy modernisation, data, integration and AI.
• Work directly with CIOs, CTOs and senior government stakeholders to shape long‑term digital strategy.
• Chair architecture governance, establish standards and ensure solutions align with GDS and DDaT principles.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary delivery teams to deliver secure, scalable and citizen‑focused services.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven Enterprise Architecture experience within UK Central Government.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, digital transformation and legacy modernisation.
• Experience operating within GDS and DDaT frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to influence executive leadership.
• Consulting experience delivering complex public sector transformation programmes.
