Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection, preparation and management of relevant data and image sets.
• Modify and extend scripts and programs to automate tasks and visualise the results.
• Assist in the training and evaluation of machine learning algorithms under supervision.
• Record all changes made and document both software and research outputs.
• Work at all times in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and company procedures and guidelines.
• Follow the company’s policies.
• Undertake other duties within the general scope of the job.

Requirements

• Student undertaking a degree in a technical discipline.
• Proficiency in general IT skills on both Windows and Linux systems.
• Experience with programming or scripting (particularly Python) is a definite advantage.
• Math or statistical analysis training beneficial but not essential.
• Problem‑solving skills – ability to break down complex data challenges and find solutions.
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest and excitement to learn in the subject is vital.
