Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a global investment management technology team. The role focuses on designing and delivering data integration and software solutions across investment management platforms, with particular emphasis on Charles River IMS (CRIMS), State Street Alpha Data Platform, and Databricks. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners to define requirements, build scalable integrations, and support critical front-to-back investment management workflows. This is a highly collaborative role requiring both strong technical expertise and deep domain knowledge within asset and investment management.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• SQL Databricks, including Databricks Scheduler
• Knowledge of State Street Alpha Data Platform
• Experience working with Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS), specifically for integration via the CRIMS API
• Investment Management experience, including both business functions and data domains
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders
• Self-driven and motivated work ethic
• Ability to analyze and define requirements, take a pragmatic approach to solution delivery, adapt to changing requirements, and maintain strong attention to detail
