The Infrastructure team supports the company’s fast growth by building and operating hyper‑scale datacenters, managing the life cycle of the server fleet, providing cloud solutions, and developing various infrastructure services, ensuring they are scalable and reliable.
TikTok seeks a results‑driven, stakeholder‑focused leader to serve as Data Centre Security & EHS Manager, providing end‑to‑end operational support for global data centre infrastructure.
You will implement and enforce TikTok’s safety & security policies across the global data centre portfolio, oversee physical security and EHS operations, conduct safety program audits and testing, and coordinate with contract guards, contractors, and key stakeholders.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop and lead on‑site security operations, incidents and vulnerability remediation efforts across our data centres and network PoPs environment.
- Lead and manage security incidents, serve as the point of contact for security issues on site, and act as incident commander in events.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert for all security controls and related process areas.
- Develop strategies for improving electronic surveillance and access control systems.
- Analyze and oversee scheduling and staffing requirements for the area of responsibility.
- Support program managers and facilitate security project deliverables; devise security and EHS strategies, achieve financial targets, and improve overall operational security.
- Participate in regular meetings with vendors, Data Centre Operations, and partner teams to achieve operational consistency.
- Effectively communicate with partner teams when providing awareness of security and EHS policies and procedures.
- Implement safety standards, policies and practices including safety management systems, training, and risk assessments.
- Adapt to fast‑paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, strategy and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with global safety programs and local regulatory legislation.
As an effective communicator, you will deliver clear, consistent safety messaging in writing and orally, coach and develop personnel on safety protocols, and drive the rollout of safety standards across all sites.
You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams including production, delivery, platform, vendors, compliance, and risk management to strengthen operational safety and ensure rapid business deployment and reliable operations.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data centre security operations.
- 3+ years of experience with risk management and vulnerability assessments for data centres.
- Excellent organisational direction, time management, problem‑solving, prioritisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, shifts, areas—including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within time and budget constraints to solve problems and complete security deliverables.
- Experience managing EHS for hyperscale data centres, critical facilities, or mission‑critical infrastructure.
- Knowledge of high‑voltage electrical safety, arc flash, battery safety, chilled water systems, and data centre mechanical/electrical risks.
- Familiarity with data centre environmental compliance: hazardous waste, chemical management, water treatment, energy efficiency, and carbon reduction.
- Experience in crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity for critical facilities.
