Overview

AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, is recruiting AI & Machine Learning Graduates for a development program starting September 2026. The role is based in Cambridge and operates on a hybrid schedule of three days in office per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement and test innovative AI capabilities within AVEVA solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects, domain experts and engineers from other product teams to embed AI into various products, including on‑prem, SaaS, desktop and web/mobile applications.
  • Ensure delivering a performant and secure product by evaluating updates and assessing impact on underlying architecture and design.

Desired Skills and Knowledge

  • Prior internship or experience in software development, including version control.
  • Solid understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals (training, data cleaning, bias, class imbalance, etc.).
  • Hands‑on experience with object‑oriented programming in languages such as C#, C++, Java or Python.
  • Strong grasp of statistics and/or linear algebra.
  • Familiarity with computer vision concepts.
  • Experience with Python/Jupyter Notebooks and common ML libraries (Scikit‑Learn, Keras, TensorFlow, etc.).
  • Excellent time‑management, prioritisation and problem‑solving skills.

Working Arrangement
