This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing both compliance and advisory support across a broad range of global mobility matters. You will take ownership of client relationships, deliver high-quality technical solutions, support the development of junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of global mobility clients, delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services.
  • Provide practical, commercially focused advice on matters including international assignments, tax residence, cross-border moves, remote working arrangements, business travellers and tax equalisation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Lead client engagements and projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and support business development activities.
  • Review work prepared by junior team members, providing coaching, technical guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the UK and global network to deliver seamless solutions for clients.
  • Keep abreast of developments in UK and international tax legislation and translate these into practical advice for clients.

What We’re Looking For

  • Practical experience within Global Mobility Tax, Expatriate Tax or Employment Tax.
  • Strong UK tax technical knowledge and experience advising clients on international mobility matters.
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience reviewing work and supporting the development of junior team members.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to team and business growth.
  • An interest in using technology and data to improve the client experience and drive efficiencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • ACA, ATT or CTA qualified (or equivalent level of technical expertise) preferred.
  • Strong UK tax experience gained within professional services, industry or a related environment.
