Clinical Deputy Manager – Druid Stoke Care Home, 31 Druid Stoke Avenue, Bristol, BS9 1DE. Salary up to £54,000 per annum depending on experience. Permanent position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional night visits or weekend work.

Role Overview

As Clinical Deputy Manager you will oversee and support all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home, develop and update individual care plans, maintain accurate medication records, manage staff rotas to ensure adequate staffing, build relationships with residents and their families, liaise with local partners, and champion independence, choice and dignity for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • Create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medication records.
  • Ensure correct staffing levels through efficient rota management.
  • Build lasting relationships with residents, families and local partners and foster a sense of community.
  • Liaise with local partners to raise the care home’s profile in the area and beyond.
  • Champion independence, choice and dignity by delivering high‑quality care.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
  • Prioritise workload effectively and manage time efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Commitment to adhering to the NMC Code of Conduct.
  • Genuine commitment to professional development.
  • Relevant experience in care home or community nursing.
