Overview
Technology plays a critical role in how Aston Martin designs, develops and delivers some of the world’s most desirable vehicles. As we continue to invest in the future of engineering and digital transformation, we’re looking for a Quality Engineer to help ensure our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions are delivered with confidence, reliability and quality at their core.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a major transformation programme focused on modernising engineering processes and systems. Working at the intersection of engineering, technology and business change, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that critical platforms, including Siemens Teamcenter and its wider integration landscape, support how our engineering teams design, develop and manufacture Aston Martin vehicles.
Beyond traditional software testing, you will collaborate with engineering, design, manufacturing and IT teams to understand system usage, ensure solutions perform as expected and support complex product development processes. Your work will directly contribute to the success of one of Aston Martin’s most significant technology programmes.
Responsibilities
- Lead testing activities across multiple workstreams, defining testing strategies, coordinating test cycles and ensuring robust coverage across functional, integration, user acceptance and data migration testing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external delivery partners to identify risks early, manage defects through resolution and provide clear reporting that supports key programme decisions.
- Understand how engineering data, processes and technologies combine to enable vehicle development and ensure solutions meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience testing Product Lifecycle Management systems such as Teamcenter or similar enterprise engineering platforms.
- Strong understanding of engineering lifecycles, product development processes and data integrity principles.
- Experience working within large transformation programmes, coordinating testing activities and supporting complex system integrations.
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing or engineering environments – CAD integrations, engineering change processes, product structures (BOMs) or digital engineering technologies – is advantageous.
- Exposure to tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Polarion or automated testing solutions is beneficial.
Why Join Aston Martin
You will help shape the future engineering landscape at Aston Martin, ensuring that the systems supporting vehicle development are robust, scalable and aligned with our long‑term digital strategy. Your work will influence how engineering data, processes and technologies come together to enable the next generation of Aston Martin vehicles.
At Aston Martin, you’ll join a collaborative environment where innovation, curiosity and continuous improvement are encouraged. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experts from across engineering and technology disciplines while developing your own career within a business that is investing heavily in its future.
