About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic CNC Machinist Apprentice to join our growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in precision engineering and wants to develop a rewarding career while gaining nationally recognised qualifications.
Working alongside experienced machinists, you will learn how to set up and operate CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality precision components for a range of industries.
What You’ll Learn
- CNC milling and turning operations
- Machine set-up and tooling
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Quality inspection using precision measuring equipment
- Health and safety in a manufacturing environment
- Preventative machine maintenance and housekeeping
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in engineering and manufacturing
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English grade C or above.
