My client is a firm of engineering consultants working on a range of projects that includes building structures, infrastructure, transportation and more. They have a number of UK offices and provide good support for people wanting to become chartered with MICE or MIStructE.
Role Overview
The client is looking for a Structural Engineering Graduate with one to two years of post‑graduation experience, who has experience of design and structural analysis, to join them in Leeds, West Yorkshire. You will work with one of the leading firms of consulting engineers on a variety of building structures including offices, retail, residential and industrial sectors. The client offers excellent training and support for you to work towards chartered status.
Responsibilities
- Work on building structures in various sectors.
- Provide technical support for report writing and presentations.
- Attend design and site meetings and conduct inspections on site.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- One to two years of experience as a structural engineer on design and structural analysis.
- Experience using design software such as TSD, Tedds or similar programmes.
- Experience working in a UK consulting engineering firm.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Good communication skills to liaise with contractors, other consultants and the client.
Benefits
