I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a major, well‑established UK organisation for a skilled Building Services Technician to support operations across diverse sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that plays a critical role in maintaining safe, compliant, and high‑performing environments.

The Role

As a Building Services Technician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of key building systems. You’ll ensure facilities remain operational, efficient, and compliant with all relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across mechanical and electrical systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure
• Support statutory compliance and health & safety standards across all sites
• Respond effectively to emergency maintenance requests
• Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and compliance records
• Manage contractors

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in building services, facilities management, or a similar environment
• Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• Multi‑skilled with a strong understanding of M&E systems
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
