We’re looking for a talented GCP Cloud Engineer to join our growing team and help deliver secure, scalable, and innovative cloud solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies, build trusted client relationships, and play a key role in transforming organisations through cloud-first strategies.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and maintain complex GCP environments for clients
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud services and applications
- Develop automation scripts, tooling, and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure
- Provide technical guidance and support on GCP best practices
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- Implement security, governance, and compliance controls across cloud estates
- Support continuous improvement through DevOps and automation initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing and administering Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong understanding of:
- Compute Engine
- Serverless Architectures
- IAM
- Networking
- Security Services
- Experience with GCP networking, including:
- VPCs
- Subnets
- Load Balancers
- Gateways
- Network Security Controls
- Strong Python scripting skills for automation and operational efficiency
- Experience developing and maintaining cloud automation scripts and templates
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including:
- Jira
- Git Repositories
- Knowledge of cloud security and compliance best practices
- Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Professional Cloud Security Engineer
- Experience supporting production environments and participating in on-call support
