Overview
At Asda, we want you to find your everything as an Online Manager. You’ll play a vital role in the day‑to‑day running of our Online operation in store by keeping our team engaged, vans on the road and customers happy. You will be responsible for the online shrink agenda with a structured process, data‑driven decision‑making and validating picker and driver resources for the store through effective rota planning, ensuring the team drives picking accuracy to guarantee consistency on the online operation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute all trading activity on the shopfloor, delivering great availability standards, key metrics and KRAs through routine and processes.
- Engage and coach the team to constantly improve routine and process, creating a culture of selling with personality, driving pick accuracy and serving customers with heart and pride.
- Drive best value offering across the online operation, respond to customer feedback, create and execute effective action plans from audits.
- Build an environment where people feel valued, trusted and motivated; listen with empathy, drive resilience and encourage ownership, focus, and passion for the business.
- Validate picker and driver resources, develop effective rota planning and maintain high picking accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications
- Experience as Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager in a complex online retail environment.
- Operational knowledge of online retail processes, including availability, picking rate, waste reduction and shrink management.
- Experience developing teams, managing change through leadership and building resilience.
- Strong organisational skills with a focus on customer service.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
