Main Purpose of the role

DSV are looking to recruit a Freight Forwarder at our Immingham branch. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy operational department. The role will predominantly be focused on large key accounts. We are looking for a professional, motivated candidate with a keen interest in the supply chain sector. This is a challenging and rewarding role.

What will you be doing?

• Liaising with large key accounts supplying goods to the UK market.
• Supporting on domestic transport routines and international movements between Europe and the UK.
• Be part of a team scheduling, planning and liaising with warehouses, logistics, haulage departments at all levels and with customers externally and internally.
• Support with KPI reporting MBR/QBR and finance in terms of invoicing and finance, stock appraisals and reconciliation.
• Converse professionally by telephone, as many phone calls are made in the day-to-day running of the business.
• Using Microsoft products and learn new bespoke systems within DSV.
• Administration duties with the ability to focus on prioritising daily tasks.
