VAT Compliance Assistant Manager

Overview

We’re BDO, an accountancy and business advisory firm that provides solutions for entrepreneurial organisations. Our rapidly growing Indirect Tax business offers the chance to hone tax technical, project management and client service skills through interesting and complex assignments.

Responsibilities

You’ll be comfortable working pro‑actively and managing your own tasks while collaborating with others and communicating regularly with seniors, colleagues and clients to help businesses effectively.

You’ll be responsible for building and managing your own advisory portfolio, with support from the Director and Partner.

We’ll help you succeed, celebrating and rewarding your contributions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with and interest in UK VAT
• Attention to detail and clear communication style
• Willingness to build and grow a network in the Reading office
• Experience dealing directly with HMRC
• CTA or equivalent qualified, or part‑qualified
