Typical work scopes will include but not be limited to installation, light construction, decommissioning, diving, well or flowline remediation / intervention and inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) work scopes. The project engineering will be provided generally from the local office with short term deployments to EMEA to support projects as required. The Senior Project Engineer will report functionally to the Engineering Manager and day-to-day to project managers as needed. The Senior Project Engineer will assist the Oceaneering Offshore Project Group (OPG) with the design, planning and execution of offshore projects, encompassing activities from initial contact with clients through proposal input, concept/ FEED, detailed engineering and planning, procurement/ manufacture to execution. Typical activities will support work scopes that include but are not limited to engineered solutions, light construction, diving and inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR). The role will be based in Aberdeen, UK, reporting to the Engineering Lead.Responsibilities

Work closely with Project Manager(s) to ensure all project objectives, schedule, deliverables, and milestones are met and carry out work which may includePerformance management of suppliers and/or sub-contractorsPreparation of procedures, task plans, Lift Plans, and review of drawings and engineering deliverablesPreparation of project or technical reports as required by management, clients or other stakeholdersProvision of input to cost estimates, schedule development, manpower requirements and the likeSupport pre and post testing of equipment, as well as repair and maintenance with the help of other support functionsPlan and manage mob/demob of equipment, Rigging, and Installation Aids according to project requirementsSupporting the Project manager with vendor selection, create Scope of work for Subcontractors for Project required scopes as neededTravel offshore and perform day to day management of project activitiesClose-out/As-built report at the end of the projectLiaising with the discipline engineering teams to engineering of subsea hardware, including development, evaluation, engineering, design, controls, procurement, and construction phases of project implementation to ensure project completion as efficiently and effectively as possiblePerforms direction and oversight of engineering task performed by the project team of Engineer(s)Responsibility for creating and reviewing engineering procedures and specifications for compliance with design principles, applicable standards, and customer requirementsPrepares design changes, specifications, schematics, and test plans for installation equipment and subsea hardwareReview and/or conduct engineering calculations and analysisReview product designs, conduct, and attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and System Integration Tests (SIT)Perform oversight of offshore operations and on-site oversight of OPG projects and subcontractors as required in a project roleSporadic Work and travel in EMEA, both onshore and offshoreKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

This position is considered 80% OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at nightOccasional exposure to airborne dust in the work placeWork surface is stable (flat)This position is considered 20% OFFSHORE WORK which is characterized as follows.Outdoors and indoors, day and night, as well as over/near waterRequires working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipmentFrequently the humidity is above 90%, noise is over 85 decibels, and the light is intense/glarePotential exposure to open fire/flames/sparksConstant exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gasesWork surface is stable, height is elevatedWork locations could include onshore base/Client locations as well as working from homeQualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Structural, Mechanical, Civil or Ocean Engineering)Preferably 8 or more years’ relevant experience from the subsea industryKnowledge of MathCAD, 3D CAD, 2D AutoCADAbility to travel internationally for work scopesValid driver’s licenseValid passportMust be able to obtain:

Seaman’s bookPetroleum Education Council (PEC) Basic TrainingBasic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)

Desired Qualifications

Experience in working offshore on subsea installations or IMR projects, both using ROV’s and divingPrior experience working InternationallyExperience with conflict resolution and change managementAbout The Team
