Looking for a role that actually makes a difference?

Imagine going to work knowing that your support helps someone live a fuller, more independent, and more enjoyable life every single day.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and resilient Female Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant / Companion to join a dedicated team supporting a vibrant young woman in Rickmansworth.

This isn’t your typical care role. Most days are spent out in the community enjoying activities, building confidence, creating meaningful experiences, and making every day count. One day you could be supporting a swimming session, the next accompanying yoga, music therapy, social activities, or helping to plan exciting days out.

If you’re someone who thrives on human connection, enjoys a good laugh, and believes that care should be about living life—not just existing—then we’d love to hear from you.

What Makes This Role Special?

You’ll become part of a small, supportive team that genuinely changes someone’s life for the better.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • A warm, positive personality
  • Emotional intelligence and resilience
  • Patience, empathy, and kindness
  • A genuine enjoyment of spending time with others
  • Confidence supporting someone both emotionally and practically
  • A great sense of humour and ability to build rapport

This is a role where your personality matters just as much as your experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a valued member of the support team, you’ll help enable independence, wellbeing, and enjoyment of everyday life by:

  • Supporting community‑based activities and appointments
  • Accompanying swimming, yoga, music therapy, and other hobbies
  • Providing emotional and social support
  • Assisting with personal care and daily routines
  • Supporting with medication administration
  • Helping prepare meals and household tasks
  • Following personalised support plans and guidance
  • Working collaboratively within a small, dedicated team
  • Promoting confidence, independence, and choice

Who We’re Looking For

You will be:

Compassionate, patient, and non‑judgemental

An excellent communicator and listener

Confident supporting someone in the community

Reliable, flexible, and committed

Emotionally resilient and able to remain calm under pressure

A strong team player who can follow guidance and routines

Looking for a long‑term role where you can build a meaningful professional relationship

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to a reliable vehicle
  • Able to travel within 30 minutes of Rickmansworth
  • Confident and comfortable in water, as swimming is a regular activity
  • Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
