Job Title: Maintenance Electrician (Contract)

Our client is a Facilities Management company based in Wythenshawe looking for an experienced and hardworking Electrical Maintenance Engineer to cover planned and preventive maintenance on a large site. The role is a long‑term secure contract with a view to becoming permanent, with opportunities for progression.

Location: Wythenshawe, Greater ManchesterJob Type: Contract (temp to perm)Start Date: ImmediateSalary: £21 per hour (40 hours per week). Hours worked over 40 paid at 1.5× rateWorking Hours: 8:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Daily Responsibilities

• Planned and preventive maintenance of electrical systems
• Repair and replacement of electrical fittings
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
• Carrying out all work safely and efficiently
• Building relationships with customers on site

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Full 18th Edition competence
• Multi‑skilled within the 2391 reference code (desirable)
• Experience in a similar maintenance role

Competitive hourly rate with overtime at 1.5×. The first contract is long‑term with a possibility to become permanent.
