Carlaustan Contracts Ltd are a small family run business in Central Scotland, servicing civil maintenance within the renewable energy sector across the whole of the UK including roads maintenance, drainage, spraying and other civil works, across wind, solar, battery storage and EV chargers. While our yard is based in Central Scotland, our work stretches across the entirety of the UK, and even into Northern Ireland.
Position Summary
As Skilled Machine Operator, you will undertake a variety of different jobs, including (but not limited to):
Responsibilities
- Driving a variety of machines including Tractor & Trailer, Roller and Dumper
- Manual groundworks as required
- Snagging works
- Supporting excavator operators as required
Qualifications
You will already have a CPCS or NPORS on any of the above machinery. Training and additional tickets will be supported. Must be able to demonstrate competence as part of the interview process.

Rate of pay between £15-£18 per hour dependent on experience for 40 hour week, plus overtime rate for additional hours, 30 days holiday (including public holidays).
