Role Summary

Calibration / Service Technician. Permanent vacancy in Worcestershire offering up to £30,000 salary, full training, progression, pension, and company benefits.

Our company is a well‑established global market leader, supplying state‑of‑the‑art test equipment to blue‑chip clients across the UK and Ireland. The role offers an excellent opportunity to undergo manufacturing training and become an industry expert, with potential progression to a Field Service position.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on company products
• Calibrate equipment to relevant standards (pressure, flow, and electrical)
• Diagnose faults and communicate with customers
• Keep accurate records on the company CRM and databases
• Write detailed reports and submit all required paperwork in a timely manner following company procedures
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of work carried out to ensure traceability
• Maintain correct stock levels

Qualifications

• Previous experience in servicing, maintaining, or calibrating machinery
• Logical and methodical approach with strong problem‑solving skills
• Pro‑active self‑manager with the ability to prioritise and work unsupervised
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to follow documentation and procedures
• Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail
• Excellent time‑management skills
• Confidence in talking to customers at all levels
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to travel internationally for training as required
