University of Exeter invites applications for an industrial PhD studentship in Physics, fully funded by the University and Leonardo UK. You will explore 3D nanoscale magnetic metamaterials and work towards practical, defence-relevant applications with industry partners.
Starting October 2026, the studentship covers tuition fees, a training budget, and a tax-free stipend of at least £22,805 per year for four years of full-time study at Exeter’s Department of Physics & Astronomy.
