Hunters’ long‑standing client is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support their busy Conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected local law firm offering variety, responsibility, and genuine career development.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the Conveyancing department.
- Prepare and proofread legal documents, contracts, and correspondence through digital dictation and accurate typing.
- Manage case files, diaries, and client communication to ensure the smooth progression of property transactions.
- Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and HM Land Registry.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with general office administration as required.
About You
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary in Conveyancing or strong knowledge of Conveyancing.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office; experience with LEAP or similar case management systems desirable).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a professional and client‑focused manner.
- Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
