Job Summary

Treatment Co‑ordinator – GDC registered, Part‑Time (20 hrs per week) at Bupa Dental Care Total Orthodontics, Sutton Coldfield (7 Penns Lane, B72 1AY).

Working pattern: Tuesday (8 hrs), Wednesday (8 hrs), Friday (4 hrs). Hiring Manager: Rachel Hughes.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for new and existing patients interested in specialist treatments.
  • Welcome and support patients throughout their treatment journey.
  • Conduct patient consultations and explain treatment options, plans and financing clearly and confidently.
  • Help patients understand treatment plans and financing options.
  • Build strong patient relationships and deliver an outstanding experience.
  • Work closely with clinicians and the practice team to ensure smooth patient journeys.
  • Manage enquiries and support appointment conversion opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow‑up communications.
  • Deliver a high‑quality service to ensure patient satisfaction and maximum contribution to practice efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
  • Coordinate dentist appointments throughout the treatment plan.
  • Coach team members on best practice and champion customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the practice team.
  • Support and deputise for the Practice Manager as part of the practice leadership team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • GDC registered dental professional.
  • Previous dental, orthodontic or healthcare experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident and professional approach.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Passion for customer service and patient care.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Experience in treatment co‑ordination or sales/customer engagement is advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of dental practice management systems is desirable.
