KS3 Learning Support Assistant Peterborough

About the Role:

Justteachers is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for a full‑time, long‑term supply role in a Secondary school in Peterborough, starting ASAP. This role involves supporting KS3 pupils within the classroom, including those with additional learning or SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in‑class and small‑group support across KS3.
• Support pupils to engage with learning and complete lesson activities.
• Assist the class teacher behaviour support.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional and academic development.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Pre‑requisites:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school
• A patient, proactive and supportive approach.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Ability to provide two education‑based references.
