Forklift Driver

Position Details

Temporary

Pay: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour

Location: Outskirts of Stowmarket, Suffolk – rural, must have personal transport.

Hours: 40 hours per week (shift patterns to be confirmed).

Contract: Temporary to Permanent.

Benefits: 25 days holiday, income protection, enhanced overtime rates after successful probation.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• Processing goods in and goods out
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse
• Accurately picking and packing products
• Maintaining stock levels and inventory records
• Carrying out regular stock checks
• Collecting parts from local suppliers when required
• Supporting general warehouse operations to ensure production targets are met

Qualifications

• Hold a valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence
• Have previous experience operating a Forklift
• Be confident working within a busy warehouse environment
• Have your own transport, as the site is not accessible by public transport
• Flexi/Pivot Steer, ROPT or PPT licences would be advantageous but are not essential
