Speciality Gases Facility Operator

Responsibilities

• In this role you will fill pure gases, gaseous and liquid mixtures to production order recipes from a database of over 25,000. These may include calibration reference standards, Flammox and highly toxic mixtures
• High accuracy analysis of raw materials to allow the accurate filling of cylinders to UKAS standards
• Visually assess packages and equipment to ensure they are safe to use
• Follow an analytical approach to problem solving such that root causes for non-conformances are understood, with this understanding the filling techniques and capability can be continuously improved

What makes you great

• HNC or HND in a science related subject, preferably chemistry, or several years’ experience within BOC
• GCSE / Functional Skills or equivalent in maths & English
• You have experience in analytical techniques
