Overview
This post is to assist with the provision of high‑quality cleaning within council buildings for the Facilities Management Team. We clean a variety of buildings across North Ayrshire estates which include schools, nurseries, day centres, offices, libraries, residential homes, depots and sheltered housing units.
Responsibilities
- Provide thorough cleaning of assigned facilities during term time.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all buildings.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the Facilities Manager.
Qualifications & Credentials
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) scheme registration, or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to confirmation of employment.
Working Hours & Location
Term‑time position based at Skelmorlie Primary School. Working hours are 15:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday.
Salary
£20,000 – £25,000 per year.
