Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly organised and customer‑focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team. This role is based in our Harrogate office full time.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to customer enquiries.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams.
- Co‑ordinate and liaise with contractors to ensure work is scheduled and completed efficiently.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
- Prepare, create and manage all associated paperwork and documentation.
- Produce accurate quotations, job costings and financial documentation.
- Monitor costs to ensure projects remain commercially viable and within agreed budgets.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems and customer databases.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and complies with company procedures.
- Resolve customer queries and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Support continuous improvement of administrative and customer service processes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team and business objectives.
- Read and comply with the company Health & Safety Policy, taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience in a customer service or customer support role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience creating and managing administrative documentation.
- Good understanding of financial information, including P&L, GP margin.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent record‑keeping and document management skills.
Desirable
- Experience working with contractors or within a service, maintenance, construction or facilities management environment.
- Experience using CRM or case management software such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Knowledge of invoicing and purchase orders.
