- Maintenance Shutdown Port Talbot | Temporary | Full-Time | 12-hour Shifts | 7am – 7pm Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Industrial Labourers for a maintenance shutdown at a site in Port Talbot.
This is a short-term opportunity with long‑term prospects for reliable candidates.
Shutdown Schedule Training Day: Friday 17th July (8 hours, time to be confirmed) First Shift: Monday 20th July (12 hours, 7am-7pm) through to… Final Shift: Wednesday 29th July (including previous weekend)
Requirements
- Experience in an industrial environment is desirable but not essential.
- CCNSG Site Safety Passport desirable or willingness to obtain one.
- Willingness to undergo a substance abuse test.
- Driving licence advantageous but not essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
- General labouring / industrial cleaning.
- Manual handling and shovelling heavy material.
- Observing health and safety regulations at all times.
- Reporting incidents or near misses to the relevant parties.
Hourly Pay £12.71 (first 8 hours of every shift £19.07).
