About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our registered care home at Ashley Drive, supporting six individuals with learning disabilities, including people who are non-verbal or have physical disabilities.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with a supportive team to help people live independent, fulfilling lives. Guided by compassion, inclusion and respect, you will:
- Provide personalised, tailored support
- Deliver personal care with dignity and sensitivity
- Encourage life skills such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, and cleaning
- Prepare individualised support plans and risk assessments
- Empower individuals to achieve their goals and participate confidently in their community
About You
We are seeking someone who is:
- Caring, reliable, proactive, and genuinely passionate about helping others
- Able to communicate effectively and adapt your approach to different needs
- Comfortable working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
- Committed to inclusion, equality, diversity, and person-centred care
- Experienced in a similar role
- Flexible to cover other shifts when required
Due to the location, a driver’s licence is preferred as public transport links are limited.
Part-Time Hours Option
For the right person, we would consider part time hours.
