Night Shift Commissioning Operator – Power & SCADA

Astute’s Power Team is recruiting two Plant Operators to join the commissioning team for a synchronous condenser installation on an operational CCGT plant in Pembrokeshire. This role covers 12-hour night shifts with an initial three-month contract, offering a night-rate of £400–£500 per day (outside IR35).

You will operate and monitor plant systems, use SCADA for monitoring and fault identification, and support start-up, testing, and energisation activities while maintaining safety and reporting
