Support Worker – Brain Injury & Complex Needs

Location: LutonShifts: Days, Waking Nights & Sleep NightsCare Ratio: 2:1

Superior Healthcare is currently recruiting an experienced Support Worker to support an individual with a brain injury and challenging behaviour in the Luton area.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference, supporting a client who has recently been discharged from a rehabilitation centre and requires structured, person‑centred care.

The Role

You will be providing 2:1 support in the client’s home and community, delivering high‑quality care and rehabilitation‑focused support.

Duties include:

  • Daily personal care
  • Hoisting and mobility support (wheelchair user)
  • Supporting with rehabilitation and re‑integration into the community
  • Providing motivation and encouragement to promote independence
  • Administering and supporting with regular medication
  • Managing epilepsy and responding appropriately to seizures
  • Supporting and de‑escalating challenging behaviours

About You

  • Previous experience supporting individuals with brain injury is essential
  • Confidence and experience managing challenging behaviour
  • Comfortable working with complex needs, including epilepsy
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Passionate about delivering person‑centred care

Responsibilities

  • To support clients with personal care and administer medication.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months UK care experience.
  • Valid UK driving License and access to a car for work.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 24 hours per week.
  • Full UK right to work.
