Medical & Dental Temporary Staffing Booking Coordinator
We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Medical & Dental Temporary Staffing Booking Coordinator to join our Temporary Staffing Team. This exciting role will support the coordination of medical and dental temporary staffing across a single hospital site, ensuring shifts are filled safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.
You will work closely with rota coordinators, clinical teams, recruitment colleagues and temporary workers to manage bookings, support bank worker development, and help maintain safe staffing levels for patients. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking candidates with administrative or customer service experience, ideally within the NHS, recruitment, temporary staffing or workforce planning. Experience of rostering systems and working with temporary staffing agencies would be advantageous. This role will also support the contract management of the outsourced agenda for change temporary staffing provision.

Job responsibilities
The Medical & Dental Temporary Staffing Booking Coordinator provides a high quality administrative and booking service to support temporary staffing across the BSW Hospitals Group. The postholder will primarily coordinate Medical & Dental temporary staffing bookings, ensuring shifts are filled in a timely, compliant and cost-effective manner to support safe service delivery. The role also supports Medical & Dental Bank development activity, including agency-to-bank conversion initiatives and close working with Recruitment to ensure efficient attraction, onboarding and deployment of Bank workers.
Person Specification
Knowledge, Training and Experience
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience
- Experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Experience in NHS temporary staffing, recruitment or rostering.
- Knowledge of Medical & Dental or AfC temporary staffing processes.
- Experience using e-rostering systems (e.g allocate)
- Experience working with temporary staffing agencies
- Evidence of continuous professional development relevant to Temporary Staffing, People or compliance
