Position Start Date: 01/09/2026. Contract Type: Part‑time. Contract Term: Fixed (until 31 Aug 2027).
About the role
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join Mildmay Primary School, part of the Bridge Academy Trust.
The role involves 1:1 support with a pupil transitioning into our school and wider classroom support. The successful candidate should be passionate about children’s learning, early development and committed to ensuring that all children make good progress from their starting points.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 learning support to a transitioning pupil.
- Support classroom activities and inclusion practices.
- Work 27.5 hours per week.
Qualifications & Experience
- Passion for children’s learning and early development.
- Commitment to inclusive practices and child protection.
- Experience in a teaching or support role is desirable (not strictly required).
- Enhanced DBS check, medical clearance and satisfactory references will be required.
Working Hours & Contract
27.5 hours per week, fixed term until 31 Aug 2027.
